Malgudi \u2013 This word was made up with a collaboration of two cities of Bangalore<\/a>, one is Malleshwaram from, which the initial letters \u201cMal<\/strong>\u201d was picked and the other one is Basavanagudi from, which the last few letters \u201cGudi<\/strong>\u201d was taken, thus the word Malgudi was finally established.<\/p>\n

In this highly modified era, have we forgotten the days, when we use to sit for hours with our friends and family and watch the exciting serials on Doordarshan?<\/p>\n

I hope we have not \u2013 allow me to take you back in the days of 1987 that was the year in, which the first episode of Malgudi Days was telecasted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
