Days of Old<\/strong>– A popular story behind this Fort claims that a wizard who was skilled in black magic, fell in love with Ratnavati- the Princess of Bhangarh, who was very pretty and beautiful. One day the princess went shopping with her bosom friends and was purchasing Ittar[Scent].<\/p>\n

The wizard with his evil intention replaced the scent with love potion in order to trap the princess but the princess saw the wizard\u2019s act of deception and when he offered the bowl of potion- she threw it onto a big rock nearby and the rock turned rolling down towards the wizard and squashed him.<\/p>\n

Before he died, his last uttered words were the \u2018Words of Curse’<\/strong> \u2013 he said that Bhangarh would be destroyed soon and no one will ever live within its confines and since then anyone who stayed back they never returned alive.<\/p>\n

People believe that the wicked minister wanted to marry a beautiful villager and terrorized her family so as to take hold of her. Instances of Incidents-<\/strong> A group of friends visited the palace and stayed back for a night, one of them heard a voice asking for help- shocked and terrified as they turned around, they saw a woman standing in royal attire with her face burned completely.<\/p>\n

Days of Old-<\/strong> The Fort built by Sawai Raja Man Singh along with Amer Fort and the Jaigarh Fort. The king was so ardent about the Nahargarh Fort in Particular which he built for his queens that even after his death- his ghost looks after the Fort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Instances of Incidents-<\/strong> Once, when this Fort was under restoration- the owner of the restoration department was found dead in his house- and the reason for his death is still a mystery.<\/p>\n
