    Day 1 : Mumbai


    Deccan Odyssey Mumbai Arrival

    As you arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a representative of Travelsite India would be there for a traditional pickup. Check in to the Train as you embark upon your royal journey. You would now be taken to your reserved cabin and settle in the train.

    Day 2 : Vadodra


    Archeological Park Vadodra

    Vadodra one of the most important city of Gujarat was the royal seat of the Gaekwad rulers. After your breakfast disembark from the royal luxury train and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site – Champaner - Pavagadh Archeological Park. The whole site consists of so many things to explore. From water installations, religious buildings and agricultural structures it has it all. Later you can return to the train as you have your meal. After lunch, embark upon your journey as we visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum which is famously known for its sculptures and paintings. You can then proceed to Laxmi Vilas Palace as you have tea there and enjoy the royalty here. Sit back and relax as the luxury train takes you ahead of your journey.

    Day 3: Udaipur


    Lake Pichola, Deccan Odyssey

    Today the Deccan odyssey Luxury train would take you to one of the most beautiful city of India – Udaipur. Udaipur has the sobriquet of the Lake City and is also considered the most romantic city of India. Started by Maharana udai singh, it is famous for the banks of Lake Pichola; the City palace complex is one beautiful structure. Enjoy the Boat ride at the lake and enjoy th ambience of Old Udaipur. Return to the train for lunch and then a tour to Old Udaipur would follow. Have a look at the markets of Udaipur and buy souvenirs and handicraft materials. Return to the train and enjoy the ride forward.

    Day 4: Jodhpur

    Today the rain enters the City of Jodhpur, which was the capital of Mar kingdom and boasts of Thar Desert. As you have your breakfast the day is to be spent at leisure. Later we would go and visit the Bhismoi Village along with the potter and weaver village. Enjoy your lunch on the train and then excurse into the city of Jaipur. Explore the Mehrangarh fort, which is one of a kind when it comes to architecture. It was commissioned by Rao Jodha and is as old as the 15th century. Situated on top of a hill the fort has been partly turned into a museum. Witness the royal palanquins and canons here in the museum. We would now take you to the Old Clock Tower and the havelis surrounding it. Return to the train as you enjoy authentic Rajasthani food here.

    Day 5: Agra


    Agra Fort Deccan Odyssey

    Enter the city of Agra and have your breakfast at the train. Disembark from your luxury train and have a trip through the city which was once the capital of the Mughals. Visit the White marble beauty – the Taj Mahal and have a mesmerizing look a Taj stands to tell the story of immortal love. Later enjoy your lunch at the City Hotel. Thereafter, move to visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-daula and visit the mausoleum of Ghiyas beg, erected by Nur Jahan. We would now visit the beautiful Agra fort built in Red sandstone and then return to the train as the Deccan Odyssey comes to life towards its journey.

    Day 6 : Sawai Madhopur – Ranthambhore

    As the train halts at Sawai Madhopur, disembark the train as you will begin your day visiting the best of the place. Go to the Ranthambhore National Park, which is considered to be one of the most famous parks of India. The park is home to various flora and fauna such as the Chinkara, Nilgai, Sloth bear and Chital etc. Explore India’s one of the finest tiger reserve and spot the majestic beast in its natural habitat. Return to the train as you enjoy a lavish lunch. Enjoy tea at a famous hunting lodge as you get familiar with locals and their way of living. Return to the train as it moves forward to your journey.

    Day 7: Jaipur


    Jaipur, Deccan Odyssey

    Today we would reach Jaipur. Have your breakfast at the train and then proceed onto witness the vibrancy and colors of the state. Disembark from the train and visit the Amer Fort built by Raja Man Singh. The city is home to many famous structures. Visit the Hawa Mahal also called the Palace of Winds is one of the most famous tourist hotspot. An archeological wonder with its small windows, the Jharokhas the Hawa Mahal is quite beautiful throughout. Thereafter visit the City Palace known for its carved gateways and wonderful archaeology. Take a stop at the Jantar Mantar – A UNESCO World Heritage site and look at the sun clock which is as old as 18th century. Now return to the hotel and have lunch. Relax at the train and enjoy the spa massage or go about the city and explore the local markets. Settle in the train as it moves forward.

    Day 8: New Delhi


    Deccan Odyssey Delhi Departure

    This would be the last day of your tour with the luxury train. Board a flight to your home country as you disembark at the Delhi Cantt railway station. Your service with Travelsite India ends here.
