    Mumbai – Aurangabad – Pench (Ramtek) – Tadoba – Ajanta – Nashik – Mumbai

    Day 1 : Mumbai – Arrival

    As you arrive at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Temple, the representative of Travelsite India would welcome you in a traditional way. As you complete the check in formalities we would take you to your reserved cabin. Settle in at the train as the Deccan odyssey moves to its journey.

    Day 2 : Aurangabad – Ellora Caves

    Today as the train reaches Aurangabad, the city named after the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. This city houses many Mughal architectures and also a major industrial town. After breakfast, enjoy the morning at the ease of your Deccan Odyssey train as you have the facilities provided by the train. We would then move to visit the various sites at the Ajanta Ellora caves and enjoy the historical heritage. The Ellora caves are 34 rock cut caves which are the amalgamation of Hindu, Jain and Buddhist temples which are picturesque as the rock carvings inspire awe. Our next stop would be of Daulatabad fort, which is at the top of the hill. This fort consists of structures such as the Elephant Tank, Chini Mahal and Chand Minar and more. Retire to the train and stay.

    Day 3: Aurangabad

    This day would be completely dedicated to sightseeing in Aurangabad. Visit the Bibi ka Maqbara which is the replica of the Taj Mahal in Agra. This is the mausoleum of Dilras Banu who was the wife of Aurangzeb. This structure is considered the ‘Taj of Deccan’. This monument built for a memorial’s sake was built by Prince Azam Shah. We would now proceed to visit the Himroo fabric weaving center which is special when it comes to Aurangabad. In the afternoon, return to the train and enjoy the lunch. In the evening enjoy the relaxing spa at the Decca Odyssey. Stay.

    Day 4: Ramtek (Pench National Park)

    The train would now take a stopover at Ramtek, where we will visit the Pench National Park. Pench is known as the center of rafting opportunities. This park is also known for the management it has and was awarded with the Best management award in the 2011. The park derives its name from the river Pench as it flows within the national park. Witness the exotic animals such as the Gaur, Sambar, Cheeetal, Nilgai, Tiger and the Wild Dog. Spot some of the best birds and avifauna such as the Malabar pied hornbills and Indian Pittas etc. Later return to the Deccan odyssey and have lunch. In the evening enjoy the services of the Deccan Odyssey and its luxury ride. Stay.

    Day 5: Tadoba

    Wake up at the Chandrapur Station and then disembark your first half of the day to jungle safari inside the Tadoba National park and Tiger reserve. Witness the majestic big cats as you go about the reserve. Spot a variety of wildlife species and flora and fauna such as the wild dogs, tigers, sloth bear, deers etc. After the safari in the morning, enjoy brunch at the wildlife resort. This tour would be a guided one as you walk around the forest. Return to the Deccan Odyssey and stay at the luxury train as you proceed your journey.

    Day 6 : Jalgaon – Ajanta caves

    After the breakfast the Deccan odyssey would halt at the Jalgaon station. Disembark as you proceed to visit the UNESCO World heritage site of the Ajanta Caves, which is yet another wonder as the caves are carved out from rock. The 30 rock cave monument is dedicated to the ideology of Buddhism and Hinduism. Witness the fine craftsmanship as you watch the beautiful paintings and carvings at the cave. Spend the rest of the day at leisure as you enjoy the services and Luxuries of Deccan odyssey. Relax at the spa massage and stay at the train for the night.

    Day 7: Nashik

    The train would now move to Nashik the holy city which also hosts one of the most important Hindu festival of Kumbh. As you complete your breakfast disembark from the train and have a soothing walk around the ghats of River Godavari. Now you can also enjoy the local markets of Nashik and buy souvenirs. Later we would move to the vineyards of Nashik and enjoy the best variety of grapes such as the Chenin, the Chardonnay and the pinot Noir. Explore how wine is produced as you witness and have a taste of freshly brewed wine. Retire to the Deccan Odyssey and enjoy the lavish lunch. The evening is free at leisure as you enjoy the spa and other luxurious facilities of Deccan odyssey.

    Day 8: Mumbai – Departure
