Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 : MUMBAI - KHANDALA

Today we would be driving to the gorgeous hills of Khandala in a private car; we will check in at the hotel take some rest and tea and we will leave for the tour of Bhushi Lake which is an ideal place to relax and would also go to the Karla and Bhaja lake who’s making is dated back to 2nd century and also the Bushi Dam. Rest of the day at your pleasure.
Overnight in the hotel covered by the hills.

DAY 2 : KHANDALA

Today after the breakfast we would be leaving for the sightseeing tour in the hills of the Western Ghats, we will be encountering the divas of the hills namely: Duke’s nose; The name is derived from the Duke Wellington whose nose was very pointy which is how the cliff looks like. It is also called Naghphani, which means the hood of the snake which also resembles the cliff. Then we would go to Amrutanjan Point, later to Tiger’s Leap , which looks as if the tiger is jumping from the hill top. Then we would leave for hotel to spend the night and have our dinner.

DAY 3 : KHANDALA - MUMBAI

On the last day we will drive back to Mumbai and continue towards the onboard journey. The Mumbai Khandala Weekend trip ends here.

The hill station of Khandala lies close to the city of Mumbai; travelling distance would be nearly 82.00 Kilometers and travelling time would be 1.00 hour 45.00 minutes. Numerous trains run from the Mumbai Central to Khandala Railway station like Deccan express, Koyna Express, Sinhagad express, Sahyadri express etc [travelling average time is 2 hours 30 minutes]. The distance from Mumbai to Khandala is quite minimal [merely 82.00 Kilometers] and the nearest airport itself is the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

Best Time To Visit

Beginning from the month of October to the end of March is highly recommended in order to live the best of Khandala.
