In the pilgrimage tour of the Shirdi it will mainly be about visiting the Sai Baba Temple. And then we would be visiting the other temples and pilgrimage sites of the city.
Today in the morning we would be reaching Shirdi while driving. Shirdi is a place famous for the temple of Sai Baba. Which is build upon the Saint’s tomb (Samadhi), it has a high value and believes in India. It is considered that he listens to the wishes we ask him for, with pure heart. Today would be free to enjoy the place. Night stay in the hotel, with complimentary dinner.
On the second day we would be leaving early after the meal to visit and worship the temple of the Saint Sai Baba. After worshiping we will head to Dwarkamai, which is adjacent to the Sai Baba Temple. We will also be walking to chavadi, which is also very near to the temple; it is said that Sai Baba used to sleep their every alternate night and he used to be carried in a decorated carriage (palki) by the loved once.
The next station would be Shani Shignapur which is a drive of about 2 hours from Shirdi. This place is considered to be one of the safest places; it has no doors in the houses and shops to signify the fear of lord Shani (the embodiment of the planet Saturn is considered as a god in the Hindu books). His temple is worshiped by men from all over the world since ages. Drive back to the hotel for night stay and dinner.
After the morning snacks we will be leaving for Mumbai to continue with the onboard journey. The Mumbai Shirdi Weekend trip concludes on this note.
