Day 1 : Delhi

As you arrive at Delhi Airport, you would be escorted to the hotel pre-booked for you. The evening is free for leisure. Dine and relax at the hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi – Bodh Gaya

Move towards Bodh Gaya today. Check into the hotel pre-booked for you, upon arrival. After that we would go and visit Mahabodhi Temple which has beautiful sculptures of Lord Buddha. Look for the footprints of Buddha there. After the excursion, return back to the hotel. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 3 : Bodh Gaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Patna

We would start our day by driving towards Patna and in the meantime we would visit the Nalanda University. We would also halt to visit Rajgir and the Griddhkuta hills. After this, we would visit the Saptarni hills which are the source of Rajgir’s hot springs. Upon arrival at patna, Check into the hotel and stay.

Day 4 : Patna – Vaishali – Kushinagar

After we have had our breakfast we would move to Kushinagar. And halt to visit Vaishali, where you can visit the stupas that contain ashes of Lord Buddha. You can also visit the Asoka pillar in Vaishali. After that, move towards Kushinagar. Stay there for the night.

Day 5 : Kushinagar – Lumbini

After the breakfast we will explore Kushinagar and visit the stupas and the modern temples of the place which stand for Buddha’s death and cremation. After that we will drive towards Lumbini in Nepal. As you arrive there check into the hotel pre-booked for you. Dine and stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 6 : Lumbini

Today would be the day to visit Lumbini. We would visit places like the Mayadevi Temple which is important in terms of Buddha’s parentage, his mother. We can also go and visit the China Temple. Thereafter retire to the hotel and stay there for the night.

Day 7 : Lumbini - Kapilvastu – Sravasti

This day we would drive to Sravasti and then in the afternoon we would pay a visit to Ananda Bodhi tree and visit Jetavana, this is the place Lord Buddha had performed a miracle and had meditated here for the day. After the visit, stay at Sravasti.

Day 8 : Sravasti – Varanasi

As we have breakfast we would move to Varanasi. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. In the latter part of the day, we could visit the Sarnath and then after the excursion, return back to the hotel. Dine and relax at the hotel for the night.
