As you arrive at Bangalore, our representative would escort to your hotel. Check in and relax. You may use the remaining time exploring the vicinity. Dine and stay at the hotel.
As the day begins, you will proceed to explore the city of Bangalore by visiting places like the Vidhan Sabha, the Bangalore Palace, you can also visit the Fort/Palace of Tipu Sultan, which is the symbol of bravery of the ruler. Thereafter, we would proceed to Mysore. As soon as you reach Mysore, check into the hotel and stay there for the night.
This day we would go on and visit the Mysore Palace which dates back to the year 1912. Do not miss to witness here the Golden Royal Elephant Throne, the Durbar Hall, the Kalyan Mandap and the Gallery which are the main tourist attractions. Thereafter, you can go on an excursion to the vibrant and useful markets and local bazaars of the place. Dine and stay at the hotel.
After you’ve had your breakfast we would proceed to Ooty. As you reach Ooty check into the hotel and relax. Later in the evening you can go and enjoy the vicinity and the surrounding picturesque hills of the place. Enjoy the cuisine and the local bazaars famous for their handicrafts and artifacts. We would today proceed to Coimbatore Airport and then board a flight to Cochin. Upon arrival check in to the hotel pre-booked for you and relax for a while. In the evening you can enjoy the Kathakali Folk Dance show performed by trained professional dancers. Stay at the hotel for the night.
We would start our journey, by visiting the Jewish Synagogue and then visit the St. Francis Church, which is one of the oldest churches of the place. We can go about and visit the Dutch Palace and witness the rich architecture, beautiful palanquins and rich murals of the Palace. You can take leisurely walks around the streets of Cochin which are very beautiful. Return to the hotel and stay for the night.
We would today drive to Periyar. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax for a while. In the latter half of the day you can enjoy a cruise through the Lake Periyar. Divulge in the diverse culture that India has and go about talking to the locals of the place. You can return to the hotel in the evening or can take leisurely walk around the streets of the place. Dine and stay for the night in the Hotel.
Indulge in Jungle activities, in the morning. After that we would leave to Kumarakom by road. Check into the hotel as you reach there and rest for a while. Move to Kovalam today, by road. Upon arrival check into the hotel and take a little rest. The rest of the day is free at leisure. This day would completely be dedicated to Kovalam and its picturesque beaches. The beach of Kovalam provides various water sport activities for the requisite adventure that you wouldn’t want to miss. We would drive to Madurai and upon arrival check into the hotel which is pre-booked. Thereafter go and visit the Meenakshi Temple which as old as 2000 years, built in Dravidian style of architecture. This temple is also the heart of the old town. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Today we would drive to Thanjavur, after a tasty breakfast. Check into the hotel as you reach there. Then we would visit the Brihadeshwara Temple built in Chola style of architecture. There is also an adjacent Brihadeshwara Fort, which is one beautiful example of architecture. We will also visit the Thanjavur Palace and Museum which was once masonry built by the Marathas around 1550. Stay at the hotel for the night.
After having a hearty breakfast, leave for Pondicherry and in the way we would halt to visit Chidambaram – the Shiva Temple. You can explore here the various sculptures inspired from Bharat Natya Shastra. As you reach Pondicherry, check into the hotel pre-booked for you. If time permits explore the beautiful surroundings of the place. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Today we would visit the Auroville and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Go on and explore the beautiful architecture of the place and have a look into history. Then we would proceed to Chennai. Upon arrival check into the hotel and relax. Spend the remaining of the time visiting various tourist hotspots of the place. Come back and stay at the hotel.
Dedicate this day to Chennai. Go about and visit the Kanchipuram temple and Mahishasurmardini caves in Mahabalipuram. The temples at Kanchi are known for the beautiful and grand Dravidian architecture which is unique to the place. Return to the hotel and stay for the night
